This short electronic piece of just under three minutes is based on the musical letters C-H-E (from the name Christine) or C-B-natural-E. It is very similar to the much longer electronic piece, che, and is perhaps a sketch for che. It was recorded in Reddy’s parents’ home at 43 Nugget Road, Durban on 23 January 1984, and probably refers to Reddy’s colleague at the University of Durban-Westville at the time, Christine Lucia.
