tango for leela

This piano tango was written in 1986 for Surendran’s mother, Leela Reddy, to whom he was very close. Like some of his other pieces, there is no score. Reddy made a live recording of the piece on 24 April 1986, however, which is given below and is freely downloadable. The photograph on the right of Surendran and Leela was taken in Zimbabwe on his 10th birthday, 9 March 1972.
