Yɛn Wura Yesu anim obi nni hɔ (There is no one before our Lord Jesus) for SATB chorus was composed May 22, 1930, and it is one of Amu’s sacred songs. It is found in the Presbyterian Church of Ghana hymnbook, and is a sacred song, or Asɔre Dwom (worship song). This song is listed as the first in Amu’s earliest published collection of his works: Twenty-five African Songs.
