fantasy on “twinkle twinkle little star”
This is a fantasy in the 17th-century sense, a contrapuntal set of variations - in this case on the children's song 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'. In French, this is known as 'Ah! vous dirai-je, maman' (Oh, let me tell you, mother), a tune on which Mozart wrote a set of variations that Reddy very likely played as a youngster. The facsimile score has some notational quirks, including changes of clef not indicated and notes scratched out and replaced, but its witty ingenuity rewards careful study.
