This 1976 song is about the most sacred site in Lesotho, a sandstone plateau rising 1800 meters in north-west Lesotho, home to the country's founder, Moshoeshoe I who provided his Basotho people with a formidable natural fortress there. He is buried on its summit, from which there are glorious views all round.
